I have owned all 4.0 Jeeps up until recently when I bought an 02 grand cherokee with the 4.7. The 4.7 is a great motor. It will nearly if not exceed actual real world driving MPG.

Problem is the oil in the head puddles there (no drain back holes). That's also where you find a lot of sludge in older engines. Dan_in_MN.
